The Iozzi Family name can be traced back to the Province of Cosenza, Italy, in a small town called Mandatoriccio, which was established in the early 12th century. It is well known for its medieval buildings, churches, market fairs & especially, its beautiful cuisines.
Following the demise of their father’s brick factory after the war, Giuseppe & Armando Iozzi migrated to Australia in the early 1950’s and established Iozzi Constructions, which was still in operation till 2002 when Armando hung up his builders trowel for some much earned retirement.
In 1994 to diversify the business, Armando’s son Marcello, along with another partner, started an import/export company to seek new and interesting products from across the globe for the Australian market.
In early 2000 Marcello opened up new doors with Iozzi & Co. Imports, by concentrating solely on sourcing fine quality products from the European market that were not yet available in Australia. This is how Iozzi & Co. Imports came across Mokaflor coffee, Florence’s finest coffee since 1930.
Trips to Italy & Europe are made on a regular basis, thus assuring that quality assurance is achieved, and that new products that are sourced, become available to the Australian market.
